Birthday April 15, 2007

16.3 hh, light bay with a blaze, stocking and sock

Calvin was bred by Lenka! Roslyn is Calvin's mom, and his dad is a gorgeous Dutch Warmblood x TB stallion named "Roman K". Calvin is Lenka's future show hunter and equitation horse!  He has recently started working over jumps and shows a lot of talent and enjoyment in this line of work. He actually likes jumping so much, that he will jump all the jumps in the arena when he is turned loose! He is a very silly horse and loves scratching your back when you scratch his. He is definitely a barn favorite.

Calvin is available for Training Part board or Show Part Board.

Dennis was bred by Lenka. His mother is Roslyn, his dad an Oldenburg Stallion named "Xavier K". Dennis is Calvin's younger brother! Dennis is a very fancy hunter prospect with fantastic conformation, temperment and athleticism. He is definitely one to watch for in future competitions!  Dennis does have some show experience already, he went out to 3 schooling shows in 2014 and came home with 6 first place ribbons out of 9 classes! He also showed on the line in the CSHA Governor General Cup RAWF Qualifier class and came in 7th place out of 45 horses!

Dennis is privately owned and not available for part board.

Birthday April 25, 2010

13.3 hh, Red bay with star, mare

Pony of the Americas (POA)

Maple is a POA, but she didn't get any spots! Maple is a very safe, fun and trustworthy pony. She really loves people and often nickers for you when you are going to get her in the paddock.  She is uncomplicated to ride and always aims to please. She will make a fantastic kids pony and has a bright future ahead with many young riders.

Maple is available for part board.

Confetti

Birthday May 16, 2011

13.1 hh, Leopard Appaloosa with star and 3 socks

Pony of the Americas (POA)

Confetti is a POA, and she is a half sister to Maple! Confetti is such a sweet, kind, curious pony.  She came to LEC with very little handling and has progressed so well over the past few months. She is now lunging with tack and seems to be really enjoying being in work.  She is extremely smart and usually picks up on what you are asking after only one try! Confetti's training will continue over the winter and she will be ready to try going to hunter schooling shows in 2016.

Confetti is not currently available for part board.

Strider

Birthday: July 8, 2005

12.2 hh, Dark bay with star, snip and 2 back socks

Welsh Pony, Gelding

Strider is an exceptionally well-bred registered Welsh Pony. His sire is Rotherwood Crown Prince, a stallion imported from the UK, who was standing at stud at Beaverwood Farm for many years.  His dam is Snowpony Delphinus, who is the same mother of Beaverwood's Pippitti, one of the top small pony hunters in Ontario!  Strider has spent most of his just hanging out in a field, so his arrival to LEC was a big change for him! He is slowly adjusting and getting used to being in a stall and cuddled every day.  He will be started in a training program in the summer of 2016, to see if he can be trained to be a hunter show pony for a very lucky kid in the future!

Strider is in training and not available for part board.

Daisy

Birthday May 21, 2008

15.1 hh AQHA smokey black mare

Daisy is amazing! She will do a walk/trot beginner lesson with a complete newbie one day, and get grand champion  at a hunter show the next day.  She jumps anything and she does automatic lead changes!  She has the sweetest personality. She is kind, she is quiet and she loves attention. She is really is an all around, amazing horse.  She behaves well at shows.  She is great to take out on a hack.

She is currently available for part board to a rider that would like to show!

Clyde

Birthday: June 3, 2000

16 hh, Strawberry roan, gelding

Clyde is an eye-catching appaloosa cross gelding.  He was brought to LEC to be a baby sitter for adult beginner riders, and he is doing his job perfectly! But not only is he amazing for beginner riders, he has also been a favorite for learning to jump and jumping courses. He has years of previous show experience and does an automatic lead change in the corners to help his riders out. He's truly a gem and we are lucky to have him here.

Breezy

Birthday: May 10, 2008

13.2 hh, grey welsh x pony mare

Breezy is every kids dream pony! She's cute, she's fluffy, she's a little sassy and she does it ALL.  She is great for kids learning to walk and trot, but she has a fantastic jump, so she could go out to a horse show and win a hunter round.  She has previous Trillium show experience, where she took home some top ribbons!  We are excited to have her here at LEC and hope to have some young riders take her out to shows this season!

Breezy is available for any of the part board options

Bandit

Birthday May 21, 2002

15.1 hh paint cross, gelding

I cannot say enough good things about Bandit.  He is the best school horse ever, and I am so happy to have him a part of the LEC team.  He has a bit of a tough exterior, he acts cranky when you are grooming him. But if you find his special itchy spot, he will enjoy it so much, his knees will almost buckle and he will make the funniest itchy faces, I dare you not to laugh!  He loves being ridden by kids, he loves going on hacks, he loves jumping courses.  And most of all, he loves eating treats!  He spent last season taking young kids out to schooling shows and bringing home handfuls of red ribbons and smiles, and he is ready to do more of the same this season!
